Description: This dataset shows the locations of Columbia Basin PIT Tag Information System (PTAGIS) interrogation sites. An interrogation site is a location, usually fixed, where automated equipment is installed that is capable of detecting passive integrated transponder (PIT) tags. Equipment consists of at least one or more antennas through which, or over which, fish tagged with PIT tags may pass, and one or more transceivers which decode, and in some cases store, the PIT tag code and time of detection.
